Marbl-CMS is going to get a complete code rebuild. The reason for this is that the current code is manageable, but takes more work then needed to be able to add or modify features.
I'm now in the process of rebuilding and reorganising the scripting to by-pas this problem.
This is something that can happen, when coding a database while trying to learn the scripting code that it uses, in this case php. It has come to my attention, that the choices made, while valid, could be more solid and logical in terms of code design.
This is the main reason why I've made the discission to rebuild the cms. It is still based on the old scripts, but I'm going to clean up a lot of it. I wanted to do this with the current scripts. But it is much easier to start with a clean slate and use the old system as a blueprint, with a few modifications (based on what I know now)
The next version of Marbl-CMS is going to be 2.0 and is also going to be using modrewrite rules for cleaner urls, more security, better SEO compatibility and search engine ranking.
