With version 2.1 being in a test phase for a long time now and with the launch of my dad's site, Garmt op de Loop. there has happened a lot between my dad's site and the other's running version 2.1.

I've come to the only logical conclusion that the version running on Garmt op de Loop is a world apart from 2.1. All the new features and additions, while also bugfixing, has made the version on my dad's site evolve beyond version 2.1.

version 2.1 has been dethroned as the latest version, making the newest latest version 2.2.

My dad is now also running a real website. He has been running a blog for about one and a half years now, on Blogspot by Google, to blog about this athletic achievements and also to provide a gallery for the other athletes. My mum and I would shoot pictures and post them online for all to view.

Now after more then a year he is now going to run a real website. The benefits for him are that everything will now be centered at one location, instead of separate blogs for his stories and all the galleries.

Here is the link for this website:

The 1.0 to 2.1 upgrade for Veendam Karting

Finally after getting a stable 2.1 test version running on 3 sites. I can now focus on evolving the Veendam-Karting site out from the Marbl-CMS 1.0 stoneage and into the new and improved 2.1 era. There are still a few kinks to work out in the posting system. But other then a few graphical bugs, that is all they are really, it works perfectly.

I think Emiel Drent is going to happy to hear about this, once I send him the link to this article. This entire upgrade project will probably take no more then one or two days (evenings), once I get the menu structure from Emiel. Yeah I lost the msn text file with the menu structure!

Version 2.1 public beta testing

At the moment I am beta testing some features on multiple sites. The Marbl-CMS site is not using the full feature set currently, this is the main reason I am testing it on other sites that do use these features.

My webcomic/blog site Existence-Unknown and Mulder Bedden are using the features not used here. So in short I am testing on those sites as well. It is stable enough to publicly test the cms, while working behind the scenes on the final version of 2.1.

The beta test is more of a bug test by outside users, who give me feedback on bugs and errors they find. Maybe they even have some suggestions for features.
